Thanks to a grant from the Battelle Energy Alliance and the Idaho National Laboratory, Teton Valley Community Recycling was able to revise and print 1000 more copies of the popular “Guide to Recycling in Teton Valley.” This guide is available for free in the city offices, libraries, and tourist information stands.
The updated guide reflects the recent changes in Teton County, no longer recycling magazines, books, or telephone books in an effort to get cleaner, more marketable paper loads. Also, you’ll notice that the county only recycles clear, clean #1 and #2 plastic bottles which will soon need to be sorted by resin type. The only way the county can sell plastic and paper bales is if they are clean products. You will also find new information about our TerraCycle collection programs.
If you’d like to download your copy, click this link and post it next to your recycling bins at home.
