Trash Bash is fast approaching (November 3)! Teton Valley Community Recycling’s annual fundraiser is the NOT TO BE MISSED event of the fall where trash and high fashion collide and result in some spectacular, clever, and very stylish outfits. Do you want to design something for the Trashion Show? Or are you interested in kickstarting your modeling career?
This year, veteran trashionista Erica Rice, will be teaming up with TVCR and Teri McLaren of the Local Galleria in Driggs, to help inspire aspiring and current artists and trashion designers. Our “Wine and Design” free workshop is intended to gather ideas, materials, and inspiration all in one place.
Bring your materials and a beverage for this informal gathering. TVCR staff will provide light snacks and answer questions about the Trash Bash trashion show as you get your trashion mojo on. If you have extra materials you want to donate or if you are seeking a model, come join this tribe of like-minded creators to work on your design and share a glass of wine.
This year, the Trashion Show will feature a Youth (18 and under) division as well as Adult design categories. As such, children are welcome to attend. Children under 12 need an adult present.
