Trashion Fashion queen Erica Rice is hard at work on her outfit for this year’s Trash Show!
Teton Valley Community Recycling’s annual TRASH BASH fundraiser is Nov. 4, 2017 from 6-10 p.m. at West Side Yard in Victor featuring the Miller Sisters!
This family friendly event features the valley’s only trashion show. “Project Runway” and sustainable fashion collide as “trashionistas” walk the catwalk in outfits made from everything you can possibly image — recycled VCR tape, old tents, bike tubes, plastic bags, and more! Seriously, this is a can’t miss event the fall!
The TRASH BASH raises money for programs that reduce, reuse, recycle, and rethink waste in Teton Valley. There is a $10 donation for entry at the door (children 10 and under free).
The TRASH BASH is the perfect place to kick off the holiday shopping season locally! Win a season pass to Grand Targhee Resort in our raffle or maybe you just want pick up a treat for yourself and that’s OK too!
Trashion Show details:
Adults and kids of all ages are invited to repurpose waste to create wearable pieces of art as a runway outfit. Either model the piece yourself or bring a designated model.
RSVP for the Trashion Show ahead of time and arrive at the event by 6 pm with your outfit, model, and a completed outfit description. Anyone interested in participating in the Trashion Show should contact Jeannette Boner at 208-313-1731 or tetonrecycling@gmail.com.
People have said the TRASH BASH is “the most fun they’ve had all year”. It is one valley event you won’t want to miss! In addition to hosting the only Trashion Show in the Tetons, the TRASH BASH will feature a raffle, silent auction, and dance! Food from West Side Yard included in your ticket purchase, cash bar available at the restaurant and Miller Sisters will set the beat!
