2019 Earth Day Sustainability Fair
Monday April 22, 4-6pm
The Wildwood Room
In honor of Earth Day, Teton Valley Community Recycling and the Teton Regional Land Trust are organizing a Community Sustainability Fair. Our aim is to get schools, libraries, non-profits, green business, and youth organizations involved in celebrating Earth Day through hands on activities and informational booths. (Similar to Tin Cup, but you can sell things or collect donations.) There will be live raptors, a bouncy house, and the Fall River propane train for the kids.
We would love for your organization to have an Earth Day or nature focused booth or activity. This two-hour afterschool festival is free for the community and is a great place to promote your programs, the work of your environmental non-profit, or your sustainable business practices. We estimate between 300-500 people in attendance. It will be followed by a conservation film screening from 6-8 pm which you are welcome to attend.
To offset costs of organizing and promoting this event, we are asking for a $20 booth fee ($40 for commercial businesses.) We can provide you a table or you can bring your own. We do not want this fee to prohibit any group from participating, so please contact us (206-484-7354) for a fee waiver if $20 is unattainable for your organization. We would like to make this as inclusive and fun as possible – reaching all demographics of the valley. Online BOOTH SIGN UP HERE
We have space for both indoor and outdoor activities. Snacks, dinner, and drinks will be available for purchase from Dining In Catering.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions. We really hope you can be part of this fun family event.
Sincerely,
Iris Saxer
