With a background in farming, mountain guiding, and outdoor education, Sue has followed a sustainable living model for many years. She lives in an off-the-grid, solar powered house, saves scraps of many materials for reuse, and has a huge compost pile.
Sue has a B.A. in Biology, and enjoys a wide array of outdoor activities including backcountry skiing, climbing, hiking, and bird watching. Other avocations include knitting, reading novels, sudoku, and spending time with family and friends.
Sue has lived in Teton Valley for over 15 years at Snowdrift Farms. She is excited to transform a personal low-impact philosophy into a formal role, serving the community through participation on the Recycling board.
